Located in the Iyari development inside the gates of the Punta Mita Luxury Resort, Casa Avita honors the spirit of living life to the fullest. The word Iyari means “heart” in the indigenous language of Wixarika, paying homage to our family’s love for Mexico and spending time together near the ocean. We just got back from a stay at Casa Avita. I have stayed in several rentals in Punta Mita and none of them come close to Casa Avita. Edgar and Eli were not just incredibly helpful and welcoming, they were respectful and sincere. The house is in a fantastic location, has an incredible view of the ocean- with daily whale visits, and the decor is comfortable, stylish and impeccable. Casa Avita is meticulously maintained, and has everything one would want or need in a vacation rental. The owners clearly take great pride in their house.

Casa Avita, Punta Mita is heaven on earth. My husband rented out this incredible vacation home for my birthday and I couldn’t have imagined a better place to stay. This luxurious home is impeccably decorated and uses the best of everything to create a sanctuary perfect for recharging and relaxing. We loved the bedding, towels, showers, views and beds so much we found ourselves wanting to skip the beach clubs to enjoy the house; and if you know Punta Mita, that’s saying a lot. Lastly, I want to touch on the house staff. The manager starts taking care of you before you arrive, making sure your airport transportation, beach club access and private dinners are set up in advance. The recommended private chef was so great we decided to do the majority of our meals in this gorgeous space with her excellent, fresh and organic meals. I cannot recommend Casa Avita more highly.

We just returned from the most amazing vacation at Casa Avita. We have been to Punta Mita a few times, and will have a very hard time staying anywhere else in the area. As soon as you walk in the door, you will be captivated by your own private bay view. We were lucky enough to witness whales breaching upon our arrival, and literally dancing in the ocean throughout our stay. Even better, you can hear the waves crashing. The house provides all of the entertainment you need, with house staff that truly pampers you. Beautiful art, interesting books, and luxury linens are just a few of the many wonderful things about your stay. Just a short golf cart ride away, you have gorgeous beach clubs, great restaurants and world class golf. It’s the perfect place to keep all ages in the family happy and relaxed!
